Welcome to the Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Pathology. The BJVP is sponsored by the ABPV – Brazilian Association of Veterinary Pathology, which congregates pathologists from Brazil, South America, and worldwide. The increasing number of pathologists in Brazil and an increasing scientific production in all areas of veterinary pathology, including domestic, wild, aquatic, and laboratory animals, prompted the ABPV to launch the BJVP. Submissions of original full papers, short communications, case reports, and letters to the Editor for publication in the BJVP are welcome.

About ABPV
The Brazilian Association of Veterinary Pathology (ABPV, which stands for its Portuguese name “Associação Brasileira de Patologia Veterinária”) is a national broad civil non profitable organization, located in Botucatu (State of São Paulo, Brazil) at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the UNESP (São Paulo State University), Department of Veterinary Clinics, Veterinary Pathology Service. The ABPV was created to congregate veterinary professionals and students working within the field of veterinary pathology. The ABPV organizes and promotes scientific and academic meetings, seminars, courses, aiming technical and scientific advancement of the veterinary pathology in Brazil and South America.
